Utilities

Utility Service:

The Cascade Industrial Park has all necessary utilities – telecommunications, water, sewer, garbage, recycling, electricity, and natural gas. Cascade Communications Company provides telephone, high speed Internet, and cable television 563-852-3710. The City of Cascade provides water, sewer, garbage, and recycling 563-852-3114. Natural gas service is provided by Cascade Municipal Utilities 563- 852-3416. Cascade Municipal Utilities also provides electric service to some areas of the Industrial Park. Maquoketa Valley Electric, Anamosa, Iowa 1-800-927-6068 provides electricity to areas not served by Cascade Municipal Utilities.

Water:

Most lots in the Industrial Park are stubbed with a 6” water line and 6” sewer line. These lines are serviced from 8” water mains and 8” sewer mains. Water pressure is around 42-psi and flows from fire hydrants are around 1,000 gallons per minute. The Cascade water system is at 30% capacity. It can produce 741,000 gallons of water per day and its average daily consumption is 230,000 gallons. The City’s two water towers hold a combined total of 640,000 gallons of water.
